This couple loves the outdoors and spent a lot of their relationship roaming the woods and trails of New Hampshire. My client wanted to incorporate as much of the wilderness where him and his wife had spent so much of their time. Working together he was able to send me a piece of granite from the “granite” state and I incorporated this one of a kind personal touch into their rings. Needless to say he loved the idea and loved how they turned out!
The Best Mom and Dad Ever
These rings were an anniversary gift for our parents. I showed my dad a picture of a walnut and gold leaf ring I had made and he wanted two more, except with purple heart, for him and my mom. It is very special to know what I have crafted is being worn and displaying the love our family has for each other, and especially between the best mom and dad ever.
For Love and Whiskey
Needless to say, this couple loves their whiskey and loves each other more. But they are not the typical couple where they wanted a flashy diamond in their ring, but rather a subtle, stylish, neutral tone ring that incorporated their love for whiskey. Doing a lot of pens with whiskey barrel wood, I knew exactly what to do for them! They loved the idea of making the ring look like a whiskey barrel and staves, as well as using oak from a genuine whiskey barrel. After sketching out some ideas we settled on the design you see here. Subtle, stylish, and classy. Like good whiskey.
From Outer Space!
You read that correctly, this ring is out of this world! This ring is for another family member who loves space. He gave me free reign on the design and knew I had to incorporate actual meteorite! Plus, I wanted it to look like outer space; chaotic but beautiful, and I think this did just the trick. The green from the Malecite and purple of the Amethyst combine perfectly with the metallic from the meteorite to create another one of a kind ring.
